Smart Works Leeds is hiring for two exciting roles; a Centre Manager and a Fundraising and Partnerships Manager.
Both candidates will be comfortable interacting with a diverse group and will build strong working relations with our Chair, Board of Trustees and team Smart Works HQ. They will be highly organised and positive individuals, who are passionate about empowering women to thrive in work and life. They will be strong communicators, both verbally and in writing, be able to multi-task, think on their feet and bring a determination to meet our aim of helping as many women as we can back into work.
The Centre Manager will be integral to the success of Smart Works Leeds and therefore requires a self-starting and proactive approach, excellent organisational skills and the ability to take sole responsibility of all aspects of the operational, day to day management of our Leeds centre.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident in using IT to manage operations and produce reports. Overall you would relish the opportunity of working in a start-up charity and all the challenges that it will entail.
Please note the responsibility of this role include finding outfits and dressing our female clients for the scheduled interview. Due to the sensitive nature of this work, and to ensure we comply with religious and cultural requirements, the post necessitates a female incumbent (or someone who identifies as female).
The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will take sole responsibility for all fundraising activity for Smart Works Leeds. This includes the identification of grant opportunities and support in the bid process, as well as the co-ordination of fundraising events and the development of corporate partnerships.
There will be a significant level of interaction with a diverse group including corporate and retail audiences, grant providers and our fundraising volunteers.
Further information about the two roles can be found here and applications will close on 4th January.
Smart Works Leeds is part of Smart Works Charity, and there will be some travel to London and liaison with the HQ team to support on induction, training and participation in regular meetings, phone calls and conferences with other Smart Works centres across the UK.
